   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast:

   Tonight: North Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less. showers
   likely early, then tapering off to scattered showers. visibility
   around 5 miles in any rain. 
   Friday: North Winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves around 1 foot. A slight
   chance of showers. Visibility unrestricted. 
   Friday Night: North Winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves around 1 foot. A chance
   of showers after midnight, reducing visibility to 5 miles at times. 
   Saturday: North Winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves around 1 foot. A chance of
   showers, reducing visibility to 5 miles.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington is 98.78 feet, and the water temperature is 59 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Friday, June 2 is a 6. This is in the high
   category.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Friday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs around 60. north
   winds 5 to 15 mph. 
   Saturday: Cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs 50 to 55. northeast
   winds 15 to 30 mph.
