   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast:

   Today: South Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 foot or less. 
   Tonight: South Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 foot or less. 
   Saturday: South Winds increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Waves building to
   1 to 2 feet. Slight chance of a shower with unrestricted visibility.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington was 99.32 feet, and the water temperature was 54 degrees.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Mostly sunny in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. highs
   in the lower to mid 60S. West Winds 15 to 20 mph. 
   Saturday: Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 60S. Southwest winds
   increasing to 20 to 35 mph.
