Hi Gail, Wolcott changed to a fiscal year in 1996. We choose to have two budgets. January to June and July to June. Our taxes are due May 10th and November 10th. We had the May installment cover the 1/2 year and November and May cover the new year. I love having a fiscal year. Less pressure on ending the year, having an audit and getting the town report printed in time for town meeting. So as their assistant I've been given the task of research. Can you all help me? Any pitfalls? Have you done it and not switched to quarterly payments? (We have two payments and I'd like to keep it that way.) Did you budget for 18 months or 6 months and then 12 months? Any advice on how to make sure it goes smoothly? Thanks very kindly. :-) Gail Fallar -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
