   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast:

   A Lake thunderstorm advisory is in effect through this evening.

   This evening: South Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. scattered
   showers and thunderstorms, reducing visibility to 3 to 5 miles at
   times. 
   Tonight: Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less. A slight
   chance of showers and thunderstorms until midnight, reducing
   visibility to 5 miles at times. 
   Sunday: Southwest winds around 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less. 
   Sunday Night: South Winds around 5 knots. Waves less than 1 foot. 
   Monday: Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   Winds and waves May be locally higher in the vicinity of any
   thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington is 98.78 feet, and the water temperature is 74 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Sunday, July 16 is an 8. This is in the very
   high category.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Sunday: Sunny. Highs 70 to 75. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph, becoming
   southwest late. 
   Monday: Sunny. Highs around 75. Southwest winds 15 to 30 mph.
