I used them doing BC at Sugarbowl.  They worked well.
They do raise you up quite hi.  I wouldn't like to be in a no fall zone
on them.   I was going to buy a pair when TEO turned me on to Fritchi 
Freeriders.   I am glad I listened to him.  I use them with my technica
alpine race boots.
