The National Library of Medicine (NLM), Collection Access Section (CAS)
invites applications for a Technical Information Specialist. The
Collection Access Section comprises three separate units: Onsite Access
Services, Interlibrary Loan, and Systems.  This position falls under the
Systems Unit.  Further information about CAS is available at:

As a Technical Information Specialist, you will contribute to a dynamic
team in the design, testing, and implementation of an automated imaging
and document delivery system supporting the operation of NLM's
interlibrary loan and onsite collection access activities.  The Systems
Unit also develops and supports DOCLINE, the web-based interlibrary loan
requesting system used by medical libraries throughout the country, and
provides hardware and software support for all CAS staff. 

In addition to an interesting, challenging work environment, NLM has a
great location on the campus of the National Institutes of Health in
Bethesda, Maryland.  It's short Metro ride from Washington D.C. and a
short walk from Bethesda's thriving restaurant and retail hub.

SALARY RANGE: 44,856.00 - 84,559.00 USD per year
