A brief stop at Dead Creek this afternoon produced 60+ Mallards, 30+ American Black Ducks, a male Northern Pintail and a female Northern Shoveler all in a single pool to the left of the information center. Also of interest was what I believe to be four Long-billed Dowitchers in the small field to the left of the information center; however, I am not certain about this i.d. Roger Masse
