Great, Jacquie. I will plan to attend your student meeting and wait to
hear from Carrie what the professional chapter is up to. Look forward
to meeting you.

Best,

Margaret

Hi Margaret,

Yes there is a professional chapter of EWB in Vermont! I have cced
the president, Carrie, on this email and she can discuss things further
with you. You are also more than welcome to attend our student chapter
meetings. We have applied for a project in Nicaragua and it will be
processed by mid march. I spoke to MJ and she said that they have
reserved this project for EWB-UVM so it is nearly gauranteed that we
will be officially awarded the project. We began brainstorming ideas
and fundraising recently. We have also made much contact with a group
of medical students who started this project from a medical standpoint
two years ago. We have two faculty members and two professional members
from IBM that also attend our meetings. Our next meeting is Wednesday,
February 21st at 7:00 in Perkins 211. If you plan to attend the meeting
I can give you directions to where Perkins is on the uvm campus.
We will be attending the international conference in April at
UMass-Amherst in April and would be delighted to carpool with you! We
look forward to meeting and working with you.

Regards,
Jacquie
