Hey Volunteers! So Heather and I sat down today and finished pairing up groups. We only have enough people to fill four schools this semester--most schools only have two people (with the exception of H.O. Wheeler which has 3). If you are on this listserv and haven't told one of us that you'd like to participate, please notify us ASAP and hopefully we can add you to an existing group (after you complete an application). The list is attached as a word document. Important Reminders: -Designate one person from your group to contact your school, introduce everyone and confirm next week (day and time). We have spoken with the after school coordinators, and things look fine, but we'd like you to call and confirm things. Also, it's a good idea that you ask him/her to estimate the #s and ages of students that usually participate in SEEDS. This will give you an idea of how many to plan for. -There will be no SEEDS during the week of February 19th--most public elementary schools have vacation. Again, confirm this with the after-school coordinator. -Our next meeting is on Monday, February 12th at 7 pm in the club space of Billings. This meeting will be for you to meet your group members, exchange contact info, etc. We will also review a few important things to remember at your schools. I hope this makes sense.
