Since there have been a few recent reports of snow buntings elsewhere, I thought I would put in my two buntings worth. I got a good look at a small flock of 10 snow buntings at the entrance to the Ed Weed Fish Hatchery in Grand Isle this afternoon. The flock swirled around repeatedly while I watched them, but consistently returned to the same spot to continue feeding. Bruce MacPherson South Burlington
