Warm Clothing Drive

If you could help someone stay warm, would you?  Do you have old winter jackets, hats and gloves that you want to get rid of?  Bring them back to school with you after spring break and donate them to the kids at Spectrum Drop-in Center.  Collection will be taking place in the Fire Place Lounge from Monday March 19th to Wednesday March 21st.

Thank you from your friends at R.I.S.E. (Residents Involved in Service Experiences)

The Class of 2009 Council is kicking off our month long campaign to begin fundraising for our senior class gift.  Every year the senior class at UVM gives a gift to University.  The catamount statue that you all walk by every day on your way to class is a gift from the Class of 1998.  From 2002-2005 the senior classes brought speakers such as Maya Angelou and Spike Lee to UVM.  These are very important gifts to the University.  In the past the seniors were left to raise money for the gift all in one year. Though we will not be choosing our gift until our senior year, it is important to start fundraising early because these gifts cost about $30,000 on average. We will be tabling outside Cook Commons on March 19th, 23rd, and 29th.
