An a.m. walk in the woods behind HUSKY in Milton produced 26 species. Along
with the more commonly seen winter residents and early migrant blackbirds
were 3 Brown Creepers, ~150 Snow Geese (flying north), 2 Song Sparrows (1
of which was attempting to sing a very muffled version of their song), 2
Pileated Woodpeckers, 3 Ruffed Grouse, and 1 American Woodcock. A
productive morning overall!
