I awoke this morning to a pair of Wood Ducks on our pond!!! Yesterday we had a female Common Merganser. The Savannah Sparrow continues to hang around ; maybe a mate will show up and they will nest in our meadow I took a walk this noon, out through the woods behind our barn and was thrilled to hear the first Hermit Thrush of the year.
