We have talked about being able to stay open later during these key times for students to study and I think this would be pretty easy to do. My thought for now would be to close down access to the building to only those with a UVM ID/. key swipe (much like the 24 hour space at the library) and perhaps we would limit the access within the building to the first floor only which would provide lounge space in the atrium and in the gameroom fireplace lounge areas. The issue is determining what would be needed in the way of security and student staffing. Details to work out but not deal breaker.
