Terry Wogan is extremely annoying, talking over Lordi and, according to him, Latvia is pally with Georgia and Iceland pally with Finland. Even if we had used our best known singers and a fantastic song we will never win because it is political.

Don't confuse Europe as a cultural and economic spce with the EU. Some of our poorer eastern bloc neighbours feel they've got one over us fat westerners.
