Today around noon at Dead Creek, Ted Murin and I enjoyed 5 Red-necked
Phalaropes (all juveniles), 3 Baird's Sandpipers (also juveniles) and a
beautiful young Buff-breasted Sandpiper. Two other birders told us they
had seen 7 Red-necked Phalaropes so it was quite a show.

Also about 50 yellowlegs (both species well represented), 5 Pectoral
Sandpipers, some Least Sandpipers, Semipalmated Plovers, Killdeer and
Spotted Sandpiper. Osprey, Bald Eagle, Merlin overhead at one time or
another.

Pipit.
