This looks like a great event and a great way to give back to our own community. Would someone be willing to lead us in this? We can discuss it more at the meeting. This is a national college event where schools across the country compete to see who can produce the most canned goods. The event is called Cans Across America, which is a food drive to help those in need in our community. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 7 at all dining service locations. The SGA would like as much club support as possible. The club who is able to produce the most cans will receive a catered ice cream party from dining services in the spring for your entire club! Also, if an individual brings in at least two cans, the SGA has tickets that will allow you to get a free 16-ounce green mountain coffee on Wednesday, November 7. Please let your club members know about this event and ask them to bring cans to your meetings this week. All cans collected can be brought to the galaxy club space by no later than Wednesday. I have attached the flyer with all the information; please contact Lizzy Mazer at [log in to unmask] if you have any questions. Your support is very important to the UVM and Burlington Community!
