It is the same for blind TCD - no angle correction using a 0 degree angle.  This is because you are not able to see the true vessel wall and are relying on the color Doppler to let you know where the vessel is.    Most labs will  use a time average maximum velocity because most published criteria are this.

Hi All,

For those of you who perform TCDI.  Using color Doppler as a guide are you angle correcting or just using 0 degree angle.  Also do you measure peak systolic velocity or time averaged maximum velocity.
