I believe that the legendary mountaineer Mugs Stump once did that on Denali at a place called "The Football Field". He did one of the climbs in some outrageously short time (did in a few hours what would take normal fit climbers a week to do or something like that), summitted and then on the descent at 19k+ feet decied to take a nap under the warm midnight sun (err, relatively warm). Umm, I doubt that this gaper was anything like Mugs however and this is not recommended. Mark P.
