I downloaded the synch tool from google – very slick… the synch can be 1 way or 2 way …

Works very well… only on the “primary” calendar ..

Thx for input

Bill,

We use a program called Calagoo that sync’s Outlook with our Google calendars.

We have been playing with the google cal, and I like it …

Has anyone gotten the outlook 2003 calendar to automatically synch with a google calendar ? This might be a way (awkward perhaps) to share the outlook calendar, and give others the means to edit.

You can publish a Google Calendar with varying levels of access.

Calendars can be public, meaning anyone (even without a Google Account) can use it. They can also be protected etc. There are ical feeds provided, which can be subscribed to in Microsoft Outlook or many other software applications.

Finally, you can publish an embeddable calendar to put in any web page.

I believe you can create one account and share the log-in information with the users of the calendar.

Greetings:

Right now, we have 3 individuals publish web-based calendars using MS Outlook. They save as a web page to a campus web server, making it available for read-only access to all campus users.

Outlook only allows 1 "editor" of the calendar, and we need more for our bus calendar as changes take place.

I am thinking of going with Google Calendar. Would this require everyone to have a google account ??

Maybe there is a better solution around the calendar creation/sharing issue..

Thx for any suggestions … do not want to re-invent the wheel..
