Does the public nature of tax bills require the town, without charge, to
make copies thereof or does making them available in the Town office
suffice?

You can check with your town attorney, but the tax bills are public record
so I donít think you can deny the request.

I have a local attorney who has requested a copy of all Moretown tax
bills. Should I ask our town attorney before filling this request?

  Thanks,
