This morning off of Nortontown Road: Townline Road (VAST trail)...1 nesting pair of NORTHERN HARRIERS, 1 FIELD SPARROW (singing male), 2 RUFOUS-SIDED TOWHEES Further east on Nortontown...I don't know the name of the property, but there was a man-made pond and cattail marsh...highlights were another nesting pair of Northern Harriers, a pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL, and a BROWN THRASHER. Country Club Road, out near the agricultural fields, 1 VESPER SPARROW. Whitney Creek, after stopping to view the PURPLE MARTINS, 1 BROWN THRASHER singing atop a tree.
