Here in Danby spring has sprung. With recent warm weather Willows and Poplars budding. This morning the SWAMP SPARROW has joined the others, had been expecting them, my first where at west Rutland Marsh April 6th. Monday two Fox Sparrows were joined by 5 White-throated Sparrows. Yesterday a lone Field Sparrow and Flicker. The Juncos are still here but not in as large of numbers. The Tree Sparrows have not been seen this week. No Chipping Sparrow yet, unless a Chipmunk counts?
