5/24 Birding the road between Searsburg and Somerset Reservoir produced many warblers and a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. On the summit of Mt. Snow, 5/26, there was a Swainson's Thrush and two Bicknell's calling. I was able to observe both Bicknell's for several minutes as they skittered about in the underbrush with one finally coming up on a log about five feet away. Several Blackpolls, Myrtles, two Magnolia Warblers, one Ruby-crowned Kinglet,White- Throated Sparrows, and a Red-Breasted Nuthatch rounded out the summit songsters. Indigo Buntings, Bl-th Blues, Bl-th Greens, Purple Finches, and Red- eyed Vireos kept me company up and down the slopes.
