The credit willl come to us Aug 1st, but on July 1st, PVR  will be sending us 
a download with the names and amounts of the rebates. (not  the actual money, 
but who gets what)So it will appear on the tax bill.

The  paragraph below is from Director Johnson’s May 15, 2008 memo to town  
treasurers. 
Beginning this year (FY09)  towns will not receive actual payment of the 
education tax adjustment  amount.  Instead that amount will be included in the 
cash flow  statement the town treasurer receives from the Department of Education 
in  September and April.  Towns will receive a check from the Tax  Department 
for the portion of the property tax adjustment credit that  relates to 
municipal taxes.  Those checks will be issued on August 1  and September 15 in 
accord with 32 V.S.A. §6066a(g).     
That  same information was mailed to listers that same  date.

I thought it now gets  funneled through the schools to begin with and then 
gets passed through to  the municipalities from there?
