I would like to thank the person who has been reporting on the birds at
Muddy Brook on Rt.116 s. of Burlington. I have been checking there for
herons for several decades now, slowing as I pass. But yesterday,
because of your posts, I stopped and found a Black-crowned Night Heron,
a Hooded Merg. pair, a Green Heron flyover, twice, and a kingbird
foraging at grasstop level as the most notable sightings in 5 minutes
of watching. Thanks!
