Location: Lake Bomoseen/Hubbardton Marshes IBA Observation date: 7/11/08 Notes: Monthly monitoring of the marsh birds. Bald eagle, juvenile, was observed circling high above the wetlands. Of the 62 wood duck, at least 27 were ducklings of various sizes. Observations were impeded due to prolific growth of emergent vegetation, mainly water lilies.
