It's really been looking and *feeling* like Fall is here on my hill. The nights and early mornings have seen temps around 50, maybe not even. I'm still living outside and have been cozying up at night in long pants and my favorite hoodie. I notived the first maple turning red over a week ago. All my heat-loving plants are under row covers. It's coming!

I just got back from the PNW and the first thing I noticed (besides the cooler
temps) was a sugar maple whose leaves were early all orange in color. Yikes!

Well, I do hope this bodes well for our coming winter.
