Five observers tallied 32 species at Aitken State Forest in Mendon this morning. Seventy species have been observed during this year's monitoring effort by Rutland County Audubon. Five species of warblers were observed including nine singing black-throated blue warblers. A red-eyed vireo was also heard singing. 

A bear was also seen!
