Some of you have experienced some confusion while trying to register for the 11/5 Ticket to Work video-conference.  For many people who are first-time users of the new AHS system, registration will follow the process as described below:

The registration process for this event, as well as for all future VR-sponsored trainings/events, is now entirely on-line (except for the payment part) using the new AHS Training Registration and Management System (TRMS).

Important:  Each person must register themselves for the training (i.e., one person cannot register several others).

Using the internet go to the AHS training event web site at:  http://humanservices.vermont.gov/professional-development/listings/dail-vr-training-events/

1. Click on the event: "Ticket to Work".
2. At the bottom of the event description, click on "Register for this Event" which takes you to the Log In page.
3. At the Log In page, select appropriate category: "I am not an employee of the Agency of Human Services"
4. Click on "Continue" which takes you to the TRMS Log In Form.
5. Click on "Establish an Account."
6. At "Establish a New User Account" page, complete the information required.  (Note: Please doublecheck that your e-mail address is typed in correctly as it may be used in the future to contact you.  Also, as noted on the page, please be sure your log-in name does not include any middle initials, spaces, commas, etc., so that the resulting login name will be: firstname.lastname.)

7. When completed, click on "Establish an Account" at the bottom of the screen to finish. At this point it should prompt you to print out a page with your user name and password, to save for future use.

8. Now you can go back to the event page and register yourself for this event.

If you encounter problems with either setting yourself up a new account, or registering for the event, you may contact:  [log in to unmask] or 241-2447.
