Headed out late-ish this AM.
34-36deg in BTV, very windy, drinking 3shots of espresso.
32deg and falling in Richmond/Huntington, with flurries and wet flakes
turning over to real snow and the radio volume steadily increasing to drown
out the dog whining at the flakes.
App Gap: 29deg, ~1" of accumulation, no wind, espresso kicks in, radio
turned to "11", rocking out, dog nose pressed to windshield.
psyched for the 3-7" on the other side.......

Not so much. 33deg in the MRG lot, NO accumulation.
By mid-station there was ~1", no more up top, maybe even less.

Cat Bowl was sketchy, tumbled a few times. Upper Canyon yielded about a
dozen in-control turns and elicited an actual grin and a whoop. The dog
liked it. Skis off at the bottom of Canyon, down hiked from there.

Ski Day #1 - check.
