I will have to bow down an say that InspiraData seems to be a well written program especially for the age group.  

 

The closeses thing I know of is Google Apps spreadsheet.   Google will allow you to creat online forms to collect data, it has a summary of that data similar to survey monkey and if you want more refined results you can alway insert a chart or gadget to show the data in different visual ways.

Can anyone provide me with a couple of titles of software that are similar to Inspire-Data?
 
Something that would allow students/classrooms to enter and  manipulate data in some visual formats?
