NAA Announces General Session Speakers
Does Green Make Sense for You?

Tuesday, April 28 – 9:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M.A panel of industry experts will discuss the history of the green revolution as it relates to the multi-family residential property industry, the current trends in development and asset management, and the business decisions that companies must contemplate in order to remain viable in light of the sustainability movement.
The panel will be moderated by Nate Kredich, Vice President of Residential Market Development at the U.S. Green Building Council. Mr. Kredich oversees growing LEED for Homes program and works to actively develop USGBC’s influence and interaction with the residential market. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

Brew, of the Rocky Mountain Institute is a Principal Architect with the RMI Built Environment Team and has over 28 years of sustainable design experience in historic, commercial, institutional, and residential architecture. James has been a speaker at the USGBC Greenbuild Conference, the Healthcare Summit on Sustainability, and the World Conference on Sustainability in Canada, Norway, and Japan. He recently spoke at the First International Conference on Building Energy & the Environment in Dalian, China.
