Not crazy at all Brian. In Florida, vascular surgeons are unable to supervise an IDTF vascular lab. But Tina, you can't just say we are not getting paid... With any denial, there will be an explanation as to why. Medicare (@ least) must tell you the reason. Just see why and then address the problem. Bill Schroedter

If you are a IDTF, cardiologists are not an approved specialty for renal artery studies.  (Sounds crazy, but look it up.)

 We are a cardiology group that does echo and vascular.  We are having trouble getting reimbursment for our renal artery studies.  What cpt codes are other places using, maybe ours is wrong.  Thanks for any info.
