While all other Lane Series concert tickets have went super fast, these are going super slow. We still have 11 tickets and I've put out numerous e-mails to students in the Global Village and L/L. I'd hate for them to go to waste. Could you encourage any of the students in your Houses to attend? Also, if you know of other UVM students who would enjoy a complimentary ticket that would work as well. Just have them stop by the Living/Learning Director's Office to pick up a ticket. On the Lane Series, they'll perform a piece written for them by the prize-winning composer Pierre Jalbert (who enjoys an international career, but originally hails from Chittenden County!); Brahms' C Major Trio; and works by Astor Piazzola. Jalbert will be in residence during the ensemble's visit, so watch for opportunities to meet the composer and learn more about his work.
