This is a reminder that on Thursday, March 19, 2009, the Center for
Research on Vermont is sponsoring Research-in-Progress Seminar #219,
“Transportation Efficiency: Reducing the Carbon and Economic Costs of 
Automobility in Vermont,” by University of Vermont Transportation 
Research Center Research Director Richard Watts.

In this presentation Dr. Watts will examine vehicle use and auto 
dependence in Vermont and review some of the possible alternatives.

The free, public talk begins at 7:30 P.M., in Memorial Lounge (Room 338)
on the main floor of the Waterman Building at the University of Vermont.
