One of my students e-mailed me yesterday with this message: "I was at
the Shelburne Bay access today checking out the bird activity and
noticed a ring-billed gull walking around the parking lot with a hot
pink tag on each wing with the number 218 imprinted on it." She wants to
know what it means. Does anyone know of any research being done on the
gulls?
