Sunday when I went for a short walk down our road, I heard the first Song
Sparrow of the season. Yesterday on a drive from Charlotte to the
Burlington Airport, I saw the first Turkey Vulture of the year (in
Shelburne) as well as the first Kestrel (in So. Burlington). Also seen on
the drive were turkeys, Canada geese, and Bohemian Waxwings (at Atlantic,
the FBO at the airport).

Lots of drumming woodpeckers and singing Pine Siskins, Gold and House
Finches here at home.
