RE: Mexico Travel Ban Lifted
The Centers
for Disease Control (CDC) recently downgraded the travel warning to
Mexico to a
“travel health precaution”. Specific details are available at the link
below. Based on the CDC’s action, President
Fogel has
lifted the ban on UVM sponsored travel to Mexico effective immediately. As the CDC notes, the illness is still active
in Mexico; individuals who have
underlying health
conditions should consult with their physician in deciding whether to
travel to
that country.
