Recent trips to these three spots were pleasant and productive. Photos of
Blackburnian, Prairie, and Blue-winged Warblers and a Virginia Rail from W.
Rutland; Yellow and Blackburnian Warblers, a Kingbird with nest material, an
Indigo Bunting, and a Great Crested Flycatcher from Berlin; and a Least
Sandpiper and Osprey flying from Baker Pond can be seen at
http://home.myfairpoint.net/jimblockphoto/jimblockphotography/id65.html

If you click the six tabs on the left below this page you will see other
recent bird images from Norwich and Thetford Vermont and just across the
river from Hanover, Lyme, and Lebanon NH that have not been reported on
VTBird. These included BG Gnatcatchers gathering silk from a tent
caterpillar web for a nest, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Northern Parula, Flicker
flying to nest hole, and a Louisiana Warbler among others. The "Ice House
Pond Monsters" are mating snapping turtles in Lebanon.
