Another one has returned to the woods by my house for the spring, lovely to hear the black-throated green warbler, welcome back. 
Also, the bay-breasted warbler returned and began singing today.



Along pond Road, O.2 mile from Dorset is an overgrown pasture, where hopefully the ground nesting birds that are singing will successfully raise their young to fledge, there was an eastern meadow lark, an eastern towhee, several bobolinks and to complete the typical field in Vermont, a harrier, skimming low to the ground.
