Yeah, finally the scarlet tanager has resumed singing in the tree tops by my house, exact same tree tops every year for ten years. And the great-crested flycatcher is calling from the same trees as always.



I now have found in the old field on Pond Road in Shelburne two male E. meadowlarks (possibly three) singing and calling the buzzy rattle while flitting through the field and perching on low tree branches. 




It's all good.
