A good number of species at the above three locations today despite the cool, windy start to the day. Highlights at West Rutland Marsh were two Northern Waterthrush on Marble St. (we usually observe them on Whipple Hollow Rd).

The highlights along the Pleasant St. powerline in West Rutland were Prairie Warblers and Field Sparrows singing and an Osprey flying along the powerline.

There were 10 species of warblers at the Rte 4 rest area including Blue-winged Warbler, Magnolia Warbler and Louisiana Waterthrush. We also heard an Eastern Wood-pewee.
