Oddly, both on my home machine and on my machine here in the office I 
was able to (yesterday) login to the computer as the local admin and it 
was able to boot. The computer was terribly slow, but I was able to 
avoid the dead hang and do a few things (not much). The main profile I 
use though, on both computers, hung to no avail and with no response or 
ability to do anything. I removed NOD32 here... but my home machine 
still has the hang problem, I never fixed it last night... so perhaps I 
can get info from it when logging into the admin profile later.
