happened….thanks! Penny

So if I issue a license using the new form, it will print
with a date from September 1st until mid October (60 days from today)?

You are correct, Bobbi – straight from Cindy Hooley’s mouth
today (VT Dept. of Health) – the license is good for 60 days from DATE OF
ISSUE…so if a license was issued today, it would be good for 60 days from
today….remember, however, that we have set up the program to show the starting
date is September 1st, because a Civil Marriage license is good as
of September 1st.
Hope this clears it up! Thanks, Penny, NEMRC

So are you saying that a new civil marriage license issued today would be good
for 60 days from September 1? It should expire 60 days from today.

If you are currently on version 7.1j, your old marriage, new civil marriage,
and old civil union forms should print properly. Remember – old marriage
licenses will have a “valid date” until August 31st….and the new
civil marriage license will automatically calculate from September 1st,
60 days hence. Again, once September 1st arrives, you will
only be able to print to the new Civil Marriage form, and the “valid date” will
start filling in by itself.
Let us know of concerns! Thanks, Penny, NEMRC
