Drew,
This is not a list of titles.. just a list of 30+ video sites that contain educational content

Don't know if you can use this.
good luck,
Lucie

Hello all!

I desperately need your help.  I'm collecting links to any and all videos used by you or your staff for school related/instructional purposes.  We're seeing a trend here, and it smells strongly of censorship based on personal politics.  I can't tolerate this sort of interference, and want to compile a list of videos used by other schools and then send this to the source(s) of our learning impediments.  The critical word used around here is "controversial."  Any video shown to students must first be approved or reviewed for controversial content.  I'd rather not get into the social and political implications of this, and strongly agree that all districts need some sort of media policy.   I also realize "controversial" is a loaded word, and this is the crux of the problem, which is poised to be played out to an absurd degree.  It certainly makes teaching my digital film and video class much more challenging (to say nothing of our current events classes).

This list can also include movie titles and other media content used for instructional purposes.  The more information I can gather, the better.  Like all of you, I have much better things to do with my time, but this has the potential to get out of hand.  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Drew
