Hey everyone- This email has a lot of information in it and all of it may not pertain to you, so here's what's included: Fall '09 PE Credit T-Shirt Design Contest Parima's this Thursday, the 8th Salsa Dance on Oct. 16th Advanced Salsa Team Tryouts on Oct. 17th FALL '09 PE CREDIT INFO Anyone who regularly participates in SASS is eligible for PE credit. If you are at 18 credits, you are eligible for credit, but will be assessed an additional fee by the registrar for exceeding that number. All participants are eligible for one credit per club, per academic year. Sign ups are on the Lynx and the form will be available until 10/11. The course will appear on your transcript around 10/20. Grades will be submitted at the conclusion of the semester. How to sign-up: 1. Go to www.uvm.edu/clubs 2. Log in using your net id and password 3. Go to SASS's profile page 4. Find the surveys and forms icon on the right hand side and click on it 5. Find the Fall 09 PE Credit Add form, click on it, and complete. /While there, if you have yet to complete your 09-10 Agreement to participate form, please do so as it is compulsory for participation and also a prerequisite for PE Credit./ If you have any questions please contact me and if questions still persists you can contact the Club Sports Coordinator ([log in to unmask]). T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTESTWe are having a t-shirt design contest that is open to all members of SASS! The person who has the winning design will get a free t-shirt, so drop your designs off in the box on our desk, which is on the 3rd floor of the Davis Center in the SGA space. The designs are due by 5pm next Wednesday, October 14th. More information about buying a t-shirt will be available early November. PARIMA'S THIS THURSDAY, THE 8THThere is going to be another salsa night at Parima's this Thursday, the 8th, starting at 9pm, with the fabulous Latin DJ Jah Red playing the hottest salsa, merengue and bachata music. If you're under 21, get there around 9pm in case they start carding. It was an incredible amount of fun the last time, so make sure you come since we don't have classes on Friday! Salsa Dance on Oct. 16th We will be hosting a salsa dance that is open to the Burlington community on October 16th from to 6:30 pm to 10pm in the Patrick Gym Dance Studio. There will be bachata and salsa lessons from 6:30 until 7:30pm and then there will be general dancing until 10pm. It costs $5 for UVM faculty and students and $7 for the Burlington community. Make sure you write this date down and bring some friends because it's going to be a lot of fun! Advanced Salsa Team Tryouts on Oct. 17thWant to try out for the advanced salsa team?
