HI Arlyn:

Are there any trainings closer to Brattleboro ? We would be happy to host if
needed.

Subject: LNV Training Registration and news about CILC activity

Hi all -

I just wanted to remind folks that there are some more Learning Network of
Vermont (LNV) trainings coming up. The locations for the sessions next week
are all set, but I imagine you can join some colleagues at the set locales
as most have room for more attendees. The sessions for the 15th and 16th
can take a few more locations if you sign-up soon.

Session 1 covers LNV basics for using the room-based video conferencing
system (camera, remote control, placing a call), an introduction to the
iView Suite (web-based meeting scheduling), and an overview of CILC.

Session 2 covers Scopia Desktop (includes webcams, content sharing, and
meeting recording) and iView suite (meeting control)

I also wanted to let you know that many more schools are starting to
actively use the LNV prepaid content bank at the Center for Interactive
Learning and Collaboration. Since the start of the school-year schools in
VT are using this resource to connect to the National Baseball Hall of Fame,
Saint Louis University, Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame, Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Cleveland Museum of Art, NASA's Johnson
Space Center, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum (plus many more). If
your school is on LNV and you don't know what this means, please sign-up for
the trainings.
