My "ultrasound" mind wants to think the increase in velocity is due to the same reasons we see it distal to ICA and L/E stents.  However my knowlege of visceral stents is limited

We use the same criteria post angioplasty and/or stenting (although the velocities seem to increase after stenting in particular).   I don’t know why they’d increase after angioplasty unless there’s a residual stenosis.
