Re: UVM Budget Planning Website
We are writing to introduce a new website for University budget planning, and to reiterate President Fogel’s invitation for campus-wide contributions to FY 2011 budget deliberations.
Next week, annual budget meetings with Vice Presidents, Deans, and campus governance leaders will begin, which will be one method of gathering input. As that work proceeds, we want to make the campus aware of the UVM Budget Planning website that will provide the University community with budget information and will facilitate the contribution of ideas, suggestions, and comments on the budget for upcoming fiscal year 2011. The site contains current information about the budget situation, copies of all University-wide FY 2011 budget planning
communications, and a schedule of key budget planning events. Comments from campus governance groups will also be posted as they are submitted.
All members of the University community are encouraged to think creatively about the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. You may submit your suggestions and comments either through your unit (e.g., your supervisor, manager, Chair, or Dean) or through your campus governance group. Further detail about how to provide input, including contact information for each of the campus governance organizations, is available at http://www.uvm.edu/budgetplanning.
